Cover the private bits

Black out your name, address, account and barcode numbers right on your phone before anything leaves it.

The cover tool draws solid boxes into the picture itself, then the photo is re-saved without location or camera data. What you see is exactly what the board shows.

Post with your X

Your bill shows your X name and photo, so payers know a real person is behind it.

Sign in with X once to link it to your wallet. We read only your public name, photo, account age and follower count, then throw the login away. Nothing is ever posted for you.

Paid straight to your wallet

ETH or USDG lands in your wallet the second someone pays. The site never holds the money.

Payments run through one public contract on Robinhood Chain that forwards every cent to you in the same transaction. ETH is priced in dollars with the Chainlink ETH / USD feed. A 2% platform fee is paid on top by the payer, never taken from your bill.

Credits for the bored

Every dollar you cover for someone is one credit, on chain, forever. Climb from Pocket change to Bored billionaire.

Credits are a public record of generosity tied to your wallet (and your X, if you link it). They cannot be bought, sold or moved. The leaderboard ranks everyone by credits.

Why we built it

Boredom is a resource.

Somewhere a person with a yacht is scrolling for something to feel. Somewhere else a person is choosing between the power bill and groceries. BillBored puts them on the same board.

No charity paperwork, no middleman holding the money. A real bill, a real person on X, and a payment that lands in one block.

Questions

Who pays the bills?

Anyone with a wallet on Robinhood Chain. We call them bored billionaires, but a $5 payment counts the same as a $5,000 one: one credit per dollar.

Does the site hold any money?

No. The contract sends every payment straight to the wallet that posted the bill, in the same transaction. Nothing waits in an account.

Are bills checked?

No. Bills are posted by their owners and are not verified. The X account behind each bill and any receipt the poster adds afterwards are there to help you judge. Only pay what you are happy to give away: nothing comes back except credits.

What do I need to post a bill?

A wallet on Robinhood Chain and an X account at least 30 days old. Bills run from $5 to $5,000 and each person can have up to three open at once.

What should I cover on the photo?

Your name, street address, account and customer numbers, barcodes and QR codes, and anything else you would not post publicly. Leave the company, the amount and the due date visible so payers can see what it is.

Is there a fee?

A 2% platform fee, paid by the payer on top of the bill. Your bill is always covered in full, and the poster pays nothing.

Can I get paid even if the bill is not fully covered?

Yes. Every partial payment is yours the moment it is made. You can close a bill early at any time.
